Job summary

BeFit Rehabilitation, LLC in Naples, FL seeks a motivated Speech Language Pathologist for part-time or PRN support at an assisted living community. The role will provide Medicare Part A and Part B services, with potential to grow into a full-time position.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, developing individualized plans, and therapy for dysphagia, cognitive-communication, voice, and speech disorders, within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate approach required for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy for dysphagia, cognitive-communication, voice, and speech disorders.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and medical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences.
