Abilities First, Inc. is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the Myers Corners School program in Wappingers Falls, NY. Join an interdisciplinary team focused on educational programming for school-age children at all levels.

The role runs Monday–Friday 8:00am–3:30pm, 21 hours per week, 48 weeks per year, with an hourly rate of $39.32–$41.32. Candidates must hold NYS licensure and related credentials to qualify for this position.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed by NYS Department of Education as a Speech Pathologist.
• NYS teacher certification required.
• Experience with oral motor, dysphagia, and augmentative communication helpful.

Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and periodic re-evaluation of students.
• Plan and implement speech therapy program for assigned caseload.
• Schedule caseload in collaboration with classroom staff and related services.
• Coordinate program between student, counselor/teacher, and case manager.
• Maintain interdisciplinary communications and report at team meetings or annual reviews.
