Job summary

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. The role evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and delivers a full range of speech therapy modalities.

Requirements include a Master's degree in communication disorders, Massachusetts licensure, and at least 1 year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred. We offer competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

Master's degree in communication disorders.
Massachusetts SLP license (active, in good standing).
One year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans with goals aligned to physician orders.
Carry out patient care plans and progress patients within the established care plan.
Perform tests and complex treatments individually or with assistance as needed.
Collaborate with occupational, physical therapists and physicians on treatment programs.
Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries in the medical record.
Provide a full range of speech therapy modalities.
