Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time position in Cambridge, MA. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and related disorders.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with state licensure; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred. Two to three years of speech pathology experience, ideally in an acute hospital, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CCC-A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
