Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech language pathology required.
• CCC certification and Maryland licensure required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and Maryland licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs speech therapy services to patients following standards and departmental policies.
• Performs patient assessments and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Develops and maintains short- and long-term treatment objectives; re-evaluates as needed.
• Records evaluations and care in medical records per documentation standards.
• Informs patients and families of results and plan for treatment; refers for further evaluation.
• Plans and provides therapy education and counseling to individuals.
• Mentors and trains clinical team members and/or students as needed.
• Delivers patient-centered care and supports interprofessional collaboration.
• Reports issues to leadership and assists in resolution to ensure quality care.
