Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our long-term care facility in Bethesda, MD. The role offers 15-25 hours per week with no weekend requirements, focusing on patient-centered assessments, treatment, and education.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
• Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
