Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville, CA is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. Earn $62.00-$65.00 per hour, BOE, with a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities to impact residents’ communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a CA SLP license, CPR certification, and preferably CCC-SLP.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid California SLP license.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team
• Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries
• Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards
