Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a part-time role (24 hours per week) on the day shift with Saturday coverage. You’ll screen, evaluate, and treat adults with disorders of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency, developing plans and documenting patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• CCC or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients’ functional abilities to determine intervention and goals.
• Implements individualized treatment plans addressing age-specific needs.
• Educates patients and families; provides home program instructions.
• Documents treatment according to standards and regulations.
• Participates in training for staff and students.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team; maintains plan of care.
