Job summary

Buckeye Union School District in El Dorado Hills, CA, is seeking a Teacher Associate for the Special Education team. This part-time role (6 hours per day during the school year) supports instructional and behavioral objectives for students with special needs at Camerado Springs Middle School.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience with children, preferably in a special education setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP preparation and implementation.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support to students.
• Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to the Special Education Teacher.
• Assist with classroom management and behavioral interventions as needed.
• Support students in developing social and life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to provide comprehensive support.
• Assist with preparation of instructional materials and activities.
• Maintain records and confidentiality of student information.
