Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred.
• Experience with children in instructional settings is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the classroom to promote a healthy and safe learning environment.
• Ensure classroom safety guidelines are followed at all times.
• Use various techniques to manage assigned student(s) effectively.
• Engage with students to enhance learning and participation.
• Assist teachers in modifying materials to meet individual needs.
• Provide basic caregiving duties and support for student development.
• Monitor and supervise students to minimize distractions.
• Assist with personal hygiene, diapering/toileting, feeding as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support MTSS processes.
• Maintain communication with students, families, and staff.
