Precision Diagnostics in North Brunswick Township, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Specimen Collector to support our clinical lab operations. You will follow SOPs, collect and handle specimens, and ensure accuracy and patient confidentiality.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license with insurance, and ability to pass MVR and background checks. Part-time schedule includes mornings/evenings across North Brunswick, Freehold, and Piscataway

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance if operating a personal vehicle for work-related activities.
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Follow client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company protocols.
• Verify and document patient demographic, identification, and insurance information.
• Collect, process, label, package, and ship laboratory specimens in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure specimen integrity by maintaining proper handling, storage, and transportation requirements.
• Enter orders and maintain accurate specimen and patient documentation within applicable systems.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate support to patients during specimen collection procedures.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Monitor supplies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, healthcare providers, and clients to support efficient operations and quality service.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
