Job summary

Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a dedicated Specimen Collector to collect biological samples at client sites, ensuring chain of custody, proper labeling, and accurate documentation. You will follow SOPs, use ELR FLUID for submissions, and maintain compliance training while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to interact with staff at various levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and confidentiality.
• Healthcare/medical field experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication are essential.
• Positive attitude in patient interactions and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency with basic Windows computer tasks and email/web navigation.

Responsibilities

• Collect biological specimens at client sites in accordance with SOPs.
• Maintain chain of custody and ensure proper labeling and sealing of samples.
• Manage sample requisitions and use ELR FLUID for submissions.
• Assist with insurance verification and patient payment collection when needed.
• Maintain PPE and follow safety requirements.
• Support sales and regional managers with sample collection duties.
• Contribute to process improvements and team goals.
• Represent Aegis professionally and uphold company policies.
