Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Lancaster County is hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers to work one-on-one with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings as Companions and Mentors.

You will provide personal care, accompany clients to errands and appointments, engage in their hobbies, assist with meals, and participate in community activities, all while enjoying weekly pay, consistent 1-on-1 clients, PTO, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; if you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities
