Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Lancaster County, PA is hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers to work one-on-one in home and community settings as Companions and Mentors for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

You will provide personal care, accompany clients to errands and appointments, assist with meals, hobbies, and daily tasks. BAYADA offers weekly pay, consistent 1-on-1 clients, PTO, flexible scheduling, and 24/7 clinical manager support.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities
