The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement learning plans and interventions, tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in individual or small group settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress.
• Assess student performance and modify instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Participate in student plan meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (preferred).
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of current special education best practices.

Start date: August 2025; this position is for the 2025-2026 school year. 20-25 hours per week (not benefits eligible).
