Position Summary
Presbyterian School is seeking an experienced, dynamic professional for a Lead Teacher for Kindergarten. At Presbyterian School, the Kindergarten Lead Teacher is a member of a collaborative team teaching the Early Childhood learner for their assigned grade level. The Lead Teacher is classroom based and functions as an integral part of the teaching team. The Lead Teacher understands the developmental journey of the Kindergartner learner, enjoys working in a high energy classroom and is skilled in facilitating an integrated curriculum. The Lead Teacher partners with the classroom Assistant Teacher and Leadership to confer, evaluate and assess student growth. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all communications with the Early Childhood students’ families. The Early Childhood Lead Teacher is encouraged to discuss with leadership, opportunities for professional and social involvement with school and student activities.
