Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the special education teacher, works with individuals and/or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assists with behavior intervention plans and classroom setup.
• Modifies materials and maintains classrooms for teaching and learning.
• Supports students during transitions, lunch, bathroom, and nurse visits.
• Collaborates with related service providers to meet student needs.
• Maintains student records with confidentiality and progress notes.
• Completes required state/local paraprofessional training annually.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
