Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a school or treatment setting with students needing learning, social, emotional, or behavioral assistance.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
• Preferred certifications: Pro-ACT, CPI intervention training, and/or CPR.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Support: Works with small groups of students in an instructional capacity.
• Environment Management: Maintains a safe, positive learning environment.
• Monitoring: Oversees individual students in classrooms, library, or playground.
• Activity Assistance: Assists students during classroom activities such as art, literacy, and motor tasks.
• Clerical Tasks: Handles basic clerical duties and uses instructional media/equipment.
• Relationship Building: Develops cooperative relationships with parents, students, and teachers.
