Job summary

Saludos Hispanos is seeking passionate, native Spanish-speaking educators to teach elementary students using immersion methods onsite in California. Training will be provided, with senior teachers prioritized for available positions based on proven immersion experience.

Candidates should demonstrate reliability, preparedness, and the ability to integrate technology and engaging activities while promoting Spanish usage among students.

Qualifications

• Native Spanish speaker with immersion teaching experience to elementary-aged children.
• Ability to adapt and prepare materials ahead of targeted objectives.
• Experience documenting student progress using diverse methods.
• Ability to craft and lead arts/craft projects and classroom activities.
• Comfort with technology and basic software (Google Drive, calendar, PowerPoint).
• Ability to engage students in Spanish and encourage language interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson materials aligned with objectives.

We are seeking passionate, native Spanish speaking educators with experience in teaching Spanish through the immersion approach to elementary age children.

We provide training on how to use our method and curriculum, however the more experienced teachers are with proven ability in teaching a second language through immersion techniques are given first choice for available positions.

• -Learn songs and sing with children without a recording
• -Physically able to sit on the floor and get up and down and bend to the height of student desks with ease.
