Job summary

Spanish Immersion is seeking a part-time language instructor to teach after-school Spanish to elementary-age children in the San Diego area. The role requires 5–8 hours weekly, with 1–2 hours daily, Monday through Friday following the school day.

You will receive training and materials, must be bilingual in English and Spanish, and complete a fingerscan, background check, and vaccination per school policy. Reliable transportation is required.

Job description

Spanish Immersion is looking for the right candidate to teach our Spanish Program after school in the San Diego and East County area. We will train you step by step with our program as well as provide the materials and curriculum needed. The candidate must enjoy teaching children of elementary age, be charismatic and dynamic, and interested in working 5-8 hours a week. This is a part-time position Monday thru Friday following after-school hours for one to two hours a day. You must be committed for the school year. Options to tutor during the summer and winter break via Zoom can be discussed in the future.

Must have experience working with children!

Fingerscan and background check is required for the hiring process.

Must be Covid-19 vaccinated as per the school's policies.

Must have reliable transportation to reliably work in La Mesa, El Cajon, and Scripps Ranch.

As a Part-time Language instructor, you must have exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:
