Job summary

Kallpachay Spanish Immersion in California is seeking passionate, native Spanish-speaking educators to teach Spanish through immersion to elementary age children. Training on our method and curriculum is provided, with priority given to applicants with proven immersion-language teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to adapt and prepare materials in advance based upon targeted objectives.
• Skilled at a variety of methods of documenting student progress.
• Skilled at making crafts and leading projects.
• Must have working knowledge of technology as well as reliable computer (download files, google drive, calendar, powerpoint, etc.).
• Positively influence students to interact in Spanish at their stage of acquisition.
• Learn songs and sing with children without a recording.
• Physically able to sit on the floor and get up and down and bend to the height of student desks with ease.

This is an in person job based in California, USA.

We are seeking passionate, native Spanish speaking educators with experience in teaching Spanish through the immersion approach to elementary age children.

We provide training on how to use our method and curriculum, however the more experienced teachers are with proven ability in teaching a second language through immersion techniques are given first choice for available positions.
