Kallpachay Spanish Immersion in California is seeking passionate, native Spanish-speaking educators to teach Spanish through immersion to elementary age children. Training on our method and curriculum is provided, with priority given to applicants with proven immersion-language teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to adapt and prepare materials in advance based upon targeted objectives.
• Skilled at a variety of methods of documenting student progress.
• Skilled at making crafts and leading projects.
• Must have working knowledge of technology as well as reliable computer (download files, google drive, calendar, powerpoint, etc.).
• Positively influence students to interact in Spanish at their stage of acquisition.
• Learn songs and sing with children without a recording.
• Physically able to sit on the floor and get up and down and bend to the height of student desks with ease.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish through immersion to elementary age children.
• Prepare materials in advance based on targeted objectives.
• Document student progress using diverse methods.
• Lead crafts and hands-on projects with students.
• Utilize technology to manage and share classroom materials.
