Job summary

The Center For International Education Inc. seeks a Part-Time Spanish Dual Language Instructional Assistant (DLIA) to support elementary students across multiple sites within the region, with 25–40 hours per week and an hourly rate of $26.

The DLIA assists lead teachers, delivers instruction in Spanish, and helps with classroom management, materials prep, and assessments in collaboration with school staff.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to high English proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (education preferred).
• At least one year of elementary teaching experience.
• Must complete designated school district HR process for school volunteer or similar.
• Must meet all Participate employment verification and hiring requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must participate in Participate DLIA program trainings & evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in the target language and core curriculum.
• Lead groups during literacy rotations and with lead teachers.
• Create lesson plans and instruct students individually and in groups.
• Maintain orderly classroom environment and follow school policies.
• Support administrative tasks related to teaching responsibilities.
