Job summary

The Center For International Education Inc is seeking a part-time Spanish DLIA teacher to support Participate Learning Dual Language Spanish immersion classrooms across multiple elementary sites. Travel between schools within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (education background preferred).
• At least one year of elementary teaching experience.
• Intermediate to high English proficiency.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must complete designated school district HR process for school volunteer or similar as confirmed by Participate.
• Must meet Participate employment verification and program trainings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to students in the target language and core curriculum.
• Lead small groups during literacy rotations with guidance from lead teachers.
• Create lesson plans and instruct students individually and in groups.
• Establish and enforce behavior rules and classroom procedures.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for activities, including photocopying and laminating.
• Administer assessments and participate in program trainings.
