Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our Imaging Services team on a part-time basis. The role offers a consistent schedule with possible PTO coverage and exposure to a range of ultrasound examinations.

You will work with state-of-the-art systems and contribute to patient safety through advanced disinfection practices. The ideal candidate will have ARDMS certifications, BLS, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced imaging environment while maintaining compassionate patient

Qualifications

• Advanced sonography program completion.
• Active ARDMS/ARRT certifications as listed.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment with accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular, and/or cardiac studies.
• Review patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Position patients and select transducers for optimal images.
• Document findings and ensure proper labeling of images.
