Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent
• Active ARDMS registration or eligibility to obtain ARDMS within 1 year of hire
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations with proper patient positioning and technical factors
• Operates 2D, M-mode, and Doppler equipment across the lifespan
• Assists radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures
• Performs clinical assessments and differentiates normal vs. pathological findings
• Confirms orders and ensures patient preparation and scanning protocol
