Job summary

Morton College is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach (Part time/ Stipend) to work with the Head Coach and student-athletes in achieving program goals. This role involves helping prepare practices and game plans, recruiting support, and attending events as directed by the Head Coach.

The position requires prior coaching experience at high school or higher levels, plus the potential value of collegiate softball playing background and pitching coaching ability.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at high school or higher levels.
• Travel team coaching experience.
• Collegiate softball playing experience; pitching coaching a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and conduct all practice and game plans.
• Assist in recruiting.
• Attend practices and games.
• Adherence to the Athletics Department Coaches Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach / Director of Athletics.
