The University of Washington School of Social Work invites applications for multiple lecturer positions for the 2026–2027 academic year, with a start in September 2026. Applicants should hold an MSW (CSWE-accredited) or related graduate degree and demonstrate positive university teaching experience; PhD/DSW and LICSW are favorable

Qualifications

• An MSW or graduate degree in a related professional practice discipline (psychology, family and marriage counseling, sociology, health sciences)
• Positive university teaching evaluations are desirable

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in BASW foundation and/or MSW foundation and advanced practice or specialization areas
• Advise and mentor students and collaborate with faculty to develop courses and assessments
• Contribute to program planning, development, and evaluation
