Job summary

Volo Sports is hiring part-time referees to join a passionate, driven team representing Volo at facilities and bars. You’ll be the main contact for players in leagues, helping create a safe, social and fair environment while promoting events and engaging with the community.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work weeknights and weekends.
• Interest in sports and social activities.

• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds.

• Must have played the sport before and attend training.
• Certified referees may qualify for a higher starting rate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players.
• Enforce soccer rules clearly and fairly.
• Communicate with the office regarding equipment, rule, and player issues.
• Update league scores in the user interface.
• Check in players in the user interface.
• Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling.
• Help distribute marketing materials.
• Encourage a quality experience throughout the league.
• Set up and take down field setup.
• Meet players and make them feel welcome.
