Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Part‑Time Merchandiser in the Bakersfield area to stock shelves, build displays, and support seasonal launches for iconic brands like Oreo, Ritz, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit.

You'll work with the RTM to ensure our products are displayed and ready to delight shoppers. Open availability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must drive personal vehicle with valid insurance; mileage reimbursed.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 25 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs).
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25 miles of Bakersfield, CA; secondary location Mountain Mesa, CA.
• Schedule flexibility with availability including weekends/holidays.
• Open morning start times.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism and positivity.
• Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Execute store visits following DSD Merchandising Principles and capture display photos.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support execution.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain brand standards.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure plan adherence with RTM.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches and merchandising events.
• Communicate store-level insights or issues via Salesforce.
• Stay safe and compliant with the physical nature of the role.
