Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware in Newton Falls, OH is seeking a part-time Small Engine Technician to service mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, generators and more. Join a customer-focused team and gain hands-on experience with varied equipment.

You'll diagnose, repair and maintain small engines, with opportunities for training and Stihl Silver Certification within the first year. Includes a signing bonus and access to training resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in small engine repair preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training available for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of small engine equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and machinery in top condition.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure full functionality and safety.
• Maintain service records and equipment documentation.
• Order and install parts as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs.
• Assist with selection of replacement parts and accessories.
