Job summary

Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide and direct services for residents, including assessment, treatment, and program planning. You will document progress and communicate results per guidelines, under physician orders. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure or eligibility, and NCLEX?

(National Certification) completion. Prior long-term care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to interpret and communicate results of assessments.
• Ability to design and execute appropriate treatment plans.
• Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct SLP services to residents, including assessment, treatment, and program planning.
• Implement treatment plans and maintain related documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and care staff to ensure quality resident care.
