Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current licensure from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• ASHA CCC-SLP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, evaluates, and conducts habilitative and rehabilitative programs to treat speech, language and/or swallowing disorders.
• Prepares written reports of diagnostic findings, intervention techniques used, progress made and follow-up status according to policy.
• Develops treatment plans, directs, supervises, and treats patients/caregiver per treatment plan.
• Consults with patient, family, providers and nursing staff.
• Assists in discharge planning and establishes home therapy programs.
