Mercyhealth seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses. The role involves cross-location coverage and collaboration with nursing and rehabilitation teams, with a focus on evidence-based care and comprehensive documentation.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC, and WI/IL licensure, including CPR/BLS within 90 days. Travel to Mercyhealth locations is expected, and supervision of staff may occur.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed as a speech language pathologist in WI, IL or both if required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation/assessment to create an effective plan of care.
• Applies integrative treatment to improve functional outcomes.
• Maintains thorough electronic documentation and coding.
• Communicates with other disciplines to enhance outcomes.
• Mentors and trains new partners across locations.
• Plans and conducts lectures/training for staff and community groups.
