Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for part-time home health in Kansas. The clinician will document care plans and treatment progress, supervise aides, and perform evaluations in collaboration with physicians.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and a valid SLP license; 1+ year of clinical experience and Medicare home health exposure preferred. Position offers benefits from day one and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech Language Pathology required.
• SLP license required.
• 1+ year clinical speech therapy experience required.
• Experience in Medicare-certified home health agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents treatment provided in medical records, updating care plans and writing modified orders for changes in the plan of care.
• Completes all documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supervision and guidance to aides, ensuring compliance with care plans and documentation requirements.
• Performs evaluations and determines diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care in consultation with the physician.
• Instructs patients and caregivers on speech language improvement programs, including home programs.
