Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN day shifts. You will evaluate and treat patients per medical guidelines, while upholding hospital standards and compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising therapy aides, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and providing patient-family education. Requires Master’s in SLP and active SLP license (or provisional/temporary) plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) or provisional/temporary licenses acceptable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct care provided by therapy aides in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge summaries accurately.
