Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology.

• Active Hawaii Speech & Language Pathologist license; minimum 6 months of experience.
• Knowledge of speech-related conditions and evidence-based treatments.
• Proficient with EMR and patient record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individualized needs of diverse patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family, teachers, or medical professionals.
