Job summary

Total Care Therapy in Indianapolis area is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders for older adults in assisted living and independent living settings.

You will develop individualized plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document in EMR, and strive to improve residents' quality of life. Flexible part-time scheduling and per-visit compensation support a clinician-friendly culture.

Qualifications

Active SLP license in Indiana.
CCC-SLP preferred or eligible.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Experience in geriatrics or related settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.
Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement appropriate swallowing interventions.
Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using the EMR.
Educate residents, caregivers, and facility staff on communication strategies and home programs.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
Maintain a productive clinical caseload delivering evidence-based therapy.
