Job summary

Benhaven, Inc. in Wallingford, CT seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services, evaluations, and collaborative team support for students with autism and related needs.

Responsibilities include developing IEP goals, monitoring progress, and coordinating with classroom teams to implement strategies throughout the school day. A Master's in SLP and CT licensure are required; CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Connecticut licensure or supervision authorization required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates considered with supervisor in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services, evaluations, and team consultation.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and progress updates in collaboration with the educational team.
• Support social-pragmatic communication, self-advocacy, and interpersonal skills across the school day.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, behavior staff, families, and outside providers as appropriate.
• Participate in PPT and interdisciplinary team meetings and document in student records.
