Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a part-time Ski/Snowboard Instructor to deliver safe, fun coaching and help guests reach their learning goals. The role emphasizes high-quality demonstrations, safety, and consistent communication with guests and staff.

Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $34 based on level, with shifts mainly weekdays and weekends, including Sundays and holidays. Applicants should be available 3 days a week and on major holidays, and be prepared for PSIA/AASI certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Certified PSIA/ASSI, or working toward certification.
• Personal skiing or snowboarding skills level 8 or better.
• Understanding of skiing or snowboarding technique and teaching methods.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• PSIA/AASI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and teach Your Responsibility Code.
• Attend required training and maintain professional communication with leadership.
• Maintain and demonstrate safe teaching practices across all zones and levels.
• Provide demonstrations appropriate to student level and transition progressions.
• Develop students' skills and encourage continued learning and progression.
