Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region seeks certified ski instructors to deliver high‑quality ski and snowboard lessons at Sun Valley. You will teach beginners to intermediate levels, create a safe, fun learning environment, and act as a welcoming Sun Valley ambassador.

Roles include both full‑time and part‑time positions with opportunities for professional development and resort perks. Weekend and holiday availability is expected to support peak season operations.

Qualifications

• Certified instructors with passion for skiing/snowboarding and teaching.
• Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level or higher.
• Strong interpersonal skills for guest and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Instruct group and private lessons for guests of varying abilities.
• Provide a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Greet guests professionally and act as a Sun Valley ambassador.
• Maintain clear communication with guests and fellow staff.
• Lead groups independently and manage group dynamics.
• Follow all safety policies and resort procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technique.
