Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is hiring a Skating Instructor 2 for The Crossover, a premier live entertainment venue. The role focuses on teaching Learn-to-Skate in group and private formats, supporting events, and promoting Ice & Field while upholding OVG values.

The position pays an hourly rate of $21.00-$25.00. The role requires 3+ years coaching experience, Learn-to-Skate USA and USFS knowledge, and active Coach ICE compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coaching experience including competitive coaching or advanced program instruction.
• Knowledge of Learn-to-Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating policies.
• Active pursuit of continued education with required compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct classes independently in Learn-to-Skate formats and events.
• Adapt curriculum to meet skater needs across programs.
• Lead production and promotion of shows and competitions.
• Provide constructive feedback to advance skaters to higher levels.
• Mentor junior instructors and model professional teaching.
• Grow private lesson clientele according to company standards.
• Communicate program information to guests and support skating disciplines.
• Take on additional leadership duties as assigned.
