Qualifications

• 1-3 years of coaching or skating instruction experience.
• Knowledge of Learn-to-Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating.
• Active pursuit of professional development in the sport.
• Membership: Learn-to-Skate USA Instructor & Compliance.
• Professional teaching style with time management.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist and instruct classes in Learn-to-Skate formats under senior staff.
• Teach foundational skills following the Learn-to-Skate curriculum.
• Support facility shows, competitions, and camps through class assistance.
• Provide constructive feedback when evaluating skaters at beginner levels.
• Communicate program information to families and promote company values.
• Recommend advancement for skaters within the Learn-to-Skate curriculum.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
