FMC Ice Sports in Massachusetts is seeking Lead Instructors to join our learn-to-skate and learn-to-play programs, working under the supervision of a program supervisor. You will guide classes, demonstrate techniques, and ensure a safe, positive experience for skaters of all ages.

Ideal candidates have prior skating-instruction experience, proficiency on ice, and relevant ISI/USFS qualifications. This part-time position offers afternoon, evening, and weekend hours with a tiered pay structure

Formación

• Experience assisting or teaching skating classes preferred.
• Must be able to ice skate proficiently.
• Figure skaters should have ISI Freestyle 4 or USFS Freeskate 4 and up.
• Hockey players should have participated in multiple years of formal league play.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with children and adults, demonstrating proper skating techniques.
• Educate the public on safe ice activities and rink policies.
• Evaluate student placements for skating instructions.
• Complete program documents such as attendance and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and support the Supervisor.
