Job summary

Marshall Investigative Group in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time SIU Investigator to conduct in-depth investigations into suspected fraud, perform surveillance, and gather statements under oath. You will work on complex cases involving bodily injury, theft, and property loss while maintaining high integrity and discretion.

Ideal candidates have SIU or investigative experience, a valid PI license or ability to obtain one, and strong observational/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Private Investigator license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in SIU or insurance investigations required.
• Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance with adequate coverage.
• Strong observational and verbal/written communication skills.
• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected insurance fraud claims through fieldwork and interviews.
• Conduct surveillance, accident scene investigations, and witness canvassing.
• Record statements and sworn statements; manage evidence.
• Review policy documents and databases for red flags.
• Prepare detailed written investigative reports.
• Collaborate with adjusters, attorneys, and analysts as needed.
