Job summary

Marshall Investigative Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a part-time SIU Investigator to conduct complex investigations into suspected insurance fraud, perform surveillance, interviews, and document findings for claims.

Candidates should have a Private Investigator license or eligibility, strong observation, ability to work independently on long surveillance assignments (8–10 hours, weekends), and excellent written/verbal communication; compensation includes hourly rates, mileage, and training

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to obtain a Private Investigator license (CFE or CIFI preferred).
• Experience: SIU or investigative work with an insurance carrier or firm.
• Driver’s license and personal auto insurance with 100/300/100 coverage.
• Proficiency with MS Word and investigative/surveillance technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage long surveillance assignments (8–10 hours per day, weekends as needed).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; high integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected insurance fraud claims.
• Perform surveillance, accident scene investigations, and witness canvassing.
• Conduct recorded statements, interviews, and examinations under oath/sworn statements.
• Review policy documents, databases, and other investigative sources.
• Identify red flags, compensability issues, and misrepresentation.
• Prepare clear, detailed investigative reports.
• Collaborate with adjusters, attorneys, analysts, and external experts as needed.
• Uphold professionalism, ethics, and discretion at all times.
