Job summary

The Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking a part-time driver to join our Buildings and Grounds team. This fill-in role delivers meals, mail and other items between JCC locations and may transport seniors for Adult Day Center programs.

Responsibilities include safe driving, door-to-door passenger assistance, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and following assigned routes. A valid Class E Chauffeurs license and CPR/First Aid are required; CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class E Chauffeurs license required; CDL Class C with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required (training provided).
• Must read and follow instructions and maintain a polite, patient demeanor with seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist mobility for participants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals, mail and other pick-ups/deliveries between JCC locations.
• Provide transportation for seniors and home-delivered meals as needed.
• Shuttle service from parking lots to buildings during events; assist passengers door-to-door.
• Keep the bus/van clean; ensure all passengers are seated and belted at all times.
• Attend required trainings and follow routes and procedures for assigned transportation duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
