Smithey Ironware Company in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a personable Showroom Associate to welcome guests, guide them through the cast iron and carbon steel collection, and help them find the right piece. This part-time, on-site role offers about 30 hours per week with shifts roughly 12:00–5:00, Monday through Saturday.

This position requires a warm, customer-focused mindset and comfort with an iPad POS system (Shopify). Prior retail or hospitality experience in premium settings is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality ideally in a premium or boutique setting.
• Ability to greet guests and communicate knowledge about products clearly.
• Comfort with using an iPad POS system (Shopify).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every guest warmly and make them feel at home
• Guide customers through our cast iron and carbon steel collection, sharing product knowledge and the Smithey story
• Answer questions about cooking, seasoning, care, and restoration
• Help customers choose the right piece and complete their purchase at the register
• Keep the showroom clean, well-stocked, and beautifully presented
• Represent Smithey's standard of quality and hospitality in every interaction
