Job summary

Smithey Ironware in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Showroom Associate for a part-time, on-site role. You will welcome guests, guide them through our cast iron and carbon steel collection, and help them find the perfect piece with friendly, knowledgeable service.

This role is about 30 hours per week, typically 12:00 to 5:00, Monday through Saturday. You should enjoy talking with people, be reliable and punctual, and comfortable using an iPad POS on Shopify.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Showroom Associate, you are the face of the brand to every guest who walks through the door. You'll welcome visitors, guide them through the collection, answer questions about cooking and care, and help them find the right piece, whether it's their first skillet or a gift meant to last generations.

This is a part-time, on-site role of about 30 hours per week, generally 12:00to 5:00, Monday through Saturday.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• A warm, outgoing personality and genuine enjoyment of talking with people in person
• Retail, hospitality, or in-person customer service experience, ideally in a premium or boutique setting
• Interest in cooking, cast iron, or craftsmanship, or eagerness to learn
• Reliable and punctual, and comfortable working Saturdays
• Comfortable using an iPad point-of-sale system (Shopify)
• Able to be on your feet and handle cookware throughout a shift

• About 30 hours per week,generally 12:00to 5:00, Monday through Saturday.
