Shoe Sensation, Inc. in Washington, IN is seeking a friendly, energetic 2nd Assistant Manager for a part-time role to help lead the team and deliver great customer experiences.

You will train new staff, assist with daily store operations, and ensure high standards in service, presentation, and loss prevention. This entry-level management role offers growth opportunities within a growing retail chain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Want to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times that you are alone in the store.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
• Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Teach others how to do all the things above.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.
